Dynalectric Ohio performed all electrical work for the HVAC upgrades at the Ohio Statehouse, which included the replacement of 25 air handling units that serve the cooling needs of this historic building.

Our team helped evaluate each piece of equipment and safe off all existing circuitry before demolition. We replaced aging electrical infrastructure, provided branch power to all HVAC equipment, and worked to ensure system integration with the existing fire alarm and life safety systems.

The client wanted to upgrade the entire HVAC system to better meet the needs of the Ohio General Assembly and Legislative Staff.

  • Rough-in for all HVAC controls

Client Background

The Ohio Statehouse is home to the Ohio General Assembly. Built between 1839 and 1861, it is one of the oldest working statehouses in the country and a National Historic Landmark.
