Middle West Spirits

Due to the hazardous nature of the environment, specialized equipment and wiring practices were required.

Value Delivered

We performed electrical infrastructure upgrades at Middle West Spirit’s original distillery, a building dating back to the 1920s. Escalating power requirements and expanded operations necessitated upgrades.

Because of the hazardous environment and the client’s desire to keep distillation, bottling, and bar/shop services operational, special precautions and equipment were required:;

  • Due to the presence of flammable ethanol vapors and grain dust, explosion-proof equipment, specialized wiring methods, and strict grounding and bonding protocols were implemented
  • Detailed planning was required to keep the operations going during the project
  • It was vitally important that the new electrical components were integrated with existing machinery and control systems

Our team did an outstanding job addressing the unique challenges of the distillery, focusing on safety and efficiency, to help ensure the continued smooth and secure operation of this vital part of their enterprise.
